Job Description:
Work in a beautiful garden environment and provide daily care and handling of nursery stock. Focus on customer retail sales of plant materials and garden supplies. Consistent maintenance of retail displays and signage are considered necessary on a daily basis. Custom maintenance and attention of garden displays and grounds are routine tasks. Establishing excellent customer relations and communication of garden knowledge to customers is also an important retail function. Fulfill duties such as daily tasks, and properly achieving timely goals with other team members on a consistent basis.
Job Responsibilities:
Retail sales & assisting in operations of the Garden Center & Nursery, with strong attention to detail and customer expectations. Each team member has great attendance and strong work ethic attitudes. The correct and safe operation of all hand tools, power tools, and machinery is very critical and serious to each team member. There is a distinguished willingness to learn proper techniques, total quality management, and accurately train & work with other team members. Pull, set-up, & organize sales orders & project materials routinely for AM crews to properly load. Recording of accurate records including time, inventory, and invoicing are also vital job roles. Operating the Computer sales system, cash register, and credit card equipment are easy systems to learn and play valuable parts in record keeping as well as handling, counting, and proper recording of cash. Individuals must be physically capable of properly lifting heavy materials on a regular basis.
Job Responsibilities:
Average 40 hours/week on a rotating yet flexible seasonal schedule Monday thru Sunday. Travel, Organize, & Participate in “satellite” sales events and trade shows/seminars.
