About Oberstadt

History

Jerry Oberstadt is a landscape artist that has been professionally creating extraordinary spaces for 35 years.

His palette incorporates the use of trees and evergreens, shrubs, annuals, perennials, sculptures, turf, and even bulldozers if needed!

Jerry graduated from MATC in Ornamental Horticulture. He further developed his unique style with extended education courses through Arnold Arboretum at Harvard University and the Chicago Botanical Garden.

Jerry owns and operates Oberstadt Landscapes, which he started as a one-person operation tending to one 17-acre estate. Over time he built his staff to 25 team members, developing his recognizable style. Currently, Jerry operates his business in the Fox River Valley with his sons, Grant and Luke, creating and maintaining amazing properties.
